Eggsy’s breath catches just slightly when Harry takes his chin. His eyes seem a darker green here in the soft bedroom light. He hadn’t dared imagine the romantic aspects; he’s a romantic at heart, but he’s not an idiot. Mostly he’d stick to entirely inappropriate thoughts, not giving himself more than that. But here he is now, wondering what it would be like to be Harry Hart’s arm candy.

There’s a lot he doesn’t tell his mum, he thinks. Maybe he could convince her to come round though? Especially if he could get Daisy to like Harry, finally get them all out from under Dean’s thumb...

He’s getting way ahead of himself and forces all of that away again.

“Well we got a night,” he says, softly and without pretence. It’s a much more honest way to be. He’s rarely very honest, but Harry deserves that much.
