The alarm was sounded at eleven in the morning, the day after Eggsy visited.
The alarms should have gone off before then, but Harry had hacked the machines, pulling and stripping wires and looping the feedback back into itself so there was no sign that he was no longer connected.
He had borrowed clothes by picking his way through the hospital, acquiring one item after another, cards and pass codes and by the time he left, he was dressed and had loose cash, a pilfered phone from a wanker who refused to turn it off and said wanker's credit card, which he used to withdraw the maximum he could and then tossed.
With more CCTV than any other city in the world, he then vanished off the grid.
By the time Eggsy was brought in by Merlin at quarter past midday, Merlin was waiting for another ping from a new internet cafe, the various footage of Harry's escape running behind him, being analysed by technicians for any hints.
"He realised he'd been made and vanished from the last internet cafe in under two minutes. He was off the cameras again within five. You're being authorised to locate and bring in Galahad, before he becomes a target or, worse, gives himself a stroke."

"No, you wouldn't let him hurt himself," Lamorak agreed. "But you would let him carry you away like that and he wouldn't let you know if he was unwell. Someone dislikes any perception of weakness in himself. Also, Harry, James isn't with us anymore. Roxanne is Lancelot now, remember?"
Harry frowned slightly, then his eyes went wide as he clearly did remember. "Oh Lord. Of course."
no subject
"I hurt him enough, before and after," He said, voice flat and less with the accent he normally cared. Kingsman and distant. "I won't do it again."
"He'll remember. He's working on it." Protective and angry, even if it wasn't his place.

Harry would take a guess who she was planning revenge against and he didn't envy Merlin. "Thank you, Alistair. We'll be fine. Go away, please."

"Roxe knows where I've been," he noted, because he figured everyone knew. Not that he was bothered by seeing her. She was right. Revenge sounded just about right. "I'll find her in a sec."

Harry pulled Eggsy up right. "You need to not be in my bed if I'm going to have any chance of behaving and not ravishing you, I'm afraid."
no subject
"Right. Of course. Got it," he said, accept still muted. "I'll... I should apologize and see Roxy and then I'll stay to the chair," he said, wondering if he had screwed up with Harry too.

"Until we can go somewhere... like my home."

He leaned in, kissing Harry's cheek once more, even as he shifted to get off the bed. "Let me go plot with Roxe, and don't you go warning him we're plotting," he said, meaning it.
"And when they realize me, and you want me there, I'll be there."
no subject
He shifted to occupy the space Eggsy had left. "When I'm allowed out," he promised.

Because he was already reaching out to stroke Harry's cheek.

And he meant that as well. Of course, he hadn't care for anyone like he did Harry so that said a lot.
