The alarm was sounded at eleven in the morning, the day after Eggsy visited.

The alarms should have gone off before then, but Harry had hacked the machines, pulling and stripping wires and looping the feedback back into itself so there was no sign that he was no longer connected.

He had borrowed clothes by picking his way through the hospital, acquiring one item after another, cards and pass codes and by the time he left, he was dressed and had loose cash, a pilfered phone from a wanker who refused to turn it off and said wanker's credit card, which he used to withdraw the maximum he could and then tossed.

With more CCTV than any other city in the world, he then vanished off the grid.

By the time Eggsy was brought in by Merlin at quarter past midday, Merlin was waiting for another ping from a new internet cafe, the various footage of Harry's escape running behind him, being analysed by technicians for any hints.

"He realised he'd been made and vanished from the last internet cafe in under two minutes. He was off the cameras again within five. You're being authorised to locate and bring in Galahad, before he becomes a target or, worse, gives himself a stroke."

Eggsy let himself fall, half sprawling along the bed, smiling up at him. "Can't help myself. I've wanted to do that since you came and saved me," he admitted.

"Saved you?" He saved him from something? He had a hard time imagining Eggsy needing saving from anything.

[prettyballsy]

"I got picked up for a small infraction of the law," he said. "And I had the medal and that phrase you told me when I was a boy. Oxfords not Brogues. So suddenly they just let me go, and I walk out, and there you were," he said, still staring up at him.

"I don't think stealing a car and leading police on a chase through London while driving backwards is actually a minor infraction," Harry said fondly.

"Oh. Nooooow you chose to remember what I did," he taunted, smirking at him. "And it's minor enough. I'm a very good driver," he pointed out.

[fucking_gentleman]

"Are you?" Things came and went. He knew what Eggsy did but the actual memory of learning that wasn't there. "Well, I suppose something about you led to me nominating you into our ranks."

Eggsy's smile slid away, staring up at him still. "Well, maybe one day you'll tell me what it was," he said, because some days he wasn't sure. "Still failed you in the end."

"Did you, or did you not help to save the world?"

He leaned over Eggsy, half crawling up him, predatory without even thinking about it.

That was way fucking sexier than it should have been. Damn. For a long moment he stared up at him, just memorizing how he looked in that moment.

"Well, I did. Mostly because you weren't there and I looked a bit like you in the suit," he said, dismissing all he had done, all of the people he had killed to save the rest of the world.

"You saved the world. I think you not only didn't fail me, you preformed above and beyond all expectations."

"The son of a bitch shot you in the face. What choice did I have?" He was a Kingsman now. Above and beyond now was what he thought was his life. Then though, then it had all been about the fact that Valentine had shot Harry.

"I don't remember it. It's likely that I never will." People often didn't remember a trauma like that, the brain never had the chance to make the memory. He leaned in, not kissing Eggsy, just close. "Was that what it was really about. Avenging me?"

He didn't break eye contact, staring up at him. "Part of it. Part of it was doing right by you. You did a whole lot for me and I let you down a lot. So yeah, I wanted to do the right thing, what you wanted. Well, that and my mum and Daisy... and Roxy and Merlin. They're who I trust, and they're the people that matter. And you."

But then, as far as he had known, Harry was gone.

Harry bent down and took Eggsy's mouth again, kissing him slow and deep, easing his lips apart to taste him.

The alarm sounded again. "For God's sake, Harry!"

Oh yes. That. More of that. Groaning even as he arched up into the kiss, lips parting and...

"He hits that button again, I'm hitting him," he sighed, flipping the bird at the camera. "If you'd stop watching, you wouldn't have a problem."

"Don't make me assign you to the Madrid mission, Gawain. A week in Spain, without physical access to Galahad."

"I hate him a little," Harry murmured against Eggsy's mouth.

"I wonder how many ways that Galahad could find to get to Spain," he mused, loudly. "And I could end it in three days."

Because dammit, he wouldn't have stayed away that long.

"Australia for a month," Merlin threatened.

"My house for a fortnight," Harry murmured, too low for the microphones to pick up. "On total bed rest for both of us."

"You're being a dick when you're the one that told me it was okay and I wasn't taking advantage of him."

Called to Merlin, even as he smiled. He brushed the back of his knuckles along Harry's cheek. "Promise. Soon," he whispered.

"Not taking advantage wasn't carte blank to making out in medical and I know you, Harry, it wouldn't stop there."

Harry smiled and caught Eggsy's hand, kissing his knuckles in what could be a chaste manner, but involved far too much suggestive flicking of his tongue.

"And you don't trust me not to put on the brakes? You think I would hurt him?"

OKay, he was a young man who had shagged a few girls, but hadn't been in a relationship, and except for a particular princess, had been doing work first and foremost.

Except he was fighting not to groan, not to writhe at the heat of Harry's tongue.

"He's going to send you away," he hissed softly.

"No. I don't. Not with him."

Because Harry was a handful at the best of times and this was not the best of times. Still he let Eggsy's hand go and sank down next to him instead, relaxing half on the bed and half on Eggsy. "Very well, see, behaving."

"He isn't videotaping us kissing, is he?" He asked, staring up at the camera, even as he slid an arm around Harry, holding him close.

"He doesn't trust you to listen to no. Did you catch that?"

[fucking_gentleman]

"I hope not. It's not for him." Though he'd happily steal the tapes.

He settled finally, tucked in close. "He thinks I could persuade you to do fairly well anything to satisfy my perverse imagination."

"When I don't have to face you having a seizure? I can't argue him," he said, meaning it. "Though why does he think you're such a damn sex fiend? Did I miss something?"
