The alarm was sounded at eleven in the morning, the day after Eggsy visited.

The alarms should have gone off before then, but Harry had hacked the machines, pulling and stripping wires and looping the feedback back into itself so there was no sign that he was no longer connected.

He had borrowed clothes by picking his way through the hospital, acquiring one item after another, cards and pass codes and by the time he left, he was dressed and had loose cash, a pilfered phone from a wanker who refused to turn it off and said wanker's credit card, which he used to withdraw the maximum he could and then tossed.

With more CCTV than any other city in the world, he then vanished off the grid.

By the time Eggsy was brought in by Merlin at quarter past midday, Merlin was waiting for another ping from a new internet cafe, the various footage of Harry's escape running behind him, being analysed by technicians for any hints.

"He realised he'd been made and vanished from the last internet cafe in under two minutes. He was off the cameras again within five. You're being authorised to locate and bring in Galahad, before he becomes a target or, worse, gives himself a stroke."

"You know, I was thinking... Oh bloody hell," he said, rolling his eyes. "It's like me mum using my full name," he teased, smirking as he shifted, body undulating to adjust himself on the bed.

"Not like he'd have clearance. The man that takes away all the fun has the way to change that," he noted, enjoying himself far too much.

"No, I don't. The Kingsman doctor can give that and while he has exposed pins and screws in his head near his ears and unable to wear ear protection, he can't be cleared."

"You're systematically taking away all my fun, Merlin." Harry was watching Eggsy as he said it.

"You're telling me you can't lock him out of there? Really?" He didn't believe that. Not in the least. 'But why do you act like I would let him hurt himself?"

He shifted, making a point of looking directly, pointedly at the camera. "You know what I'll do to protect those I care about, Merlin, so don't act like you're the only one here that cares for him."

Shaking his head, feeling hurt that Merlin would think he'd even do that.

He looked back to Harry. "And he's already threatened to take me too."

"Because he won't do it while you're around."

Harry shrugged slightly, but that was very true. While Eggsy was keeping him occupied, he was more likely to behave, but once he got bored and curious, he would start to explore and start testing his being remembered skills.

"Then don't send me to Australia," he said without a single hint of hesitation. "Seems to solve a lot of your problem."

Not that he believed he would be there constantly. Showers. Meals. Debriefings. Anything.

"Then we need to come up with better answers than sitting in this bed and babysitting JB."

"Medical restraints come to mind," Merlin growled.

"Why Merlin, I never knew you felt that way," Harry purred.

"Why you- Fuck." The line went dead.

"Hm. I guess something needs his attention more than I do."

Eggsy rolled his eyes, making a face. "One, he thinks you wouldn't find a way out of them? Two, mental images I don't need, thanks you two," he said, even if there was only one of them left.

"Ugh, hope that doesn't mean he's going to be calling me out soon," he said with a snort.

"I have little taste for being tied and bound." He walked his fingers up Eggsy's hip to his chest and pressed his hand over his heart.

"It's certainly possible. Everything is still in a lot of upheaval."

"Get this. That don't surprise me at all," he said, not imagining Harry as the beind bound type.

Canting his head slightly, watching the way he was teasing his fingers over Eggsy's chest. He knew his heart was racing, not moving away from that touch despite that.

"Will you try and not make him set off the alarms if he does? I'm gonna worry enough."

"That's positive cheating. I approve." He leaned in and stole a very light kiss, completely chaste. "I'll try to behave and not cause any undue worry when you get called away to work."

He murred at that kiss, smiling. "I'm going to do whatever I can to get you back in the field with me." Said even knowing it might not happen. Not if he didn't get his eye back.

"Eggsy, my darling boy, I have one eye, shaking in my right hand and foot and migraines and mild seizures. It might be a while before I'm approved for the field."

Plus he had no reliable memory.

"Shhh," he said, giving him a look. "I can have my delusions," he said. Because otherwise he had to face that eventually he would be back in the field. He was a damn good agent, after all, and even in his self deprecating with Harry, he knew that. One of the best they had active. Him and Roxy.

Harry hummed agreeably and lightly tugged Eggsy's hair to see how he'd react, if he'd arch, moan, protest, try and free himself...

"Merlin's been generous to give you this much time, really."

The sound he gave was low and rumbling and he hadn't even meant to. "You're cheating," he said, no heat to his words. "And yeah, I know he is. I know too that if something needs me, he knows I'll be there."

He would hate it and probably do something stupid to try and get home sooner, but he was a Kingsman. No matter what.

Interesting. Harry bit down on what he was going to say, because he was meant to be behaving.

"Just like an agent should. Whatever you say I thought, I can't help but think you are, over all, an incredibly good boy."

He reached out, pulling Harry to him, hugging him. "I plan to be the second best agent Kingsman has ever known," he said, meaning it, making that vow to Harry.

"Aim higher, Eggsy." Harry let himself be hugged, settling in again. "Aim to be the best ever. I don't know who the best ever was, but you should aim to top them. Or come second to Roxy. There's no shame in coming second to that woman."

"I am aiming pretty damn high," he said, staring at him. "In my mind, that's you," he said, not hesitating in admitting though. Though he smiled then. "Nope, nothing wrong in that. But I don't need to be best, Harry. I ain't here to be the best. I'm here to have a place that's right for me. I ain't ever had that before," he said. "Not like here."

"You have no idea how difficult you are making it for me to behave," Harry murmured. Eggsy was earnest, endearing, eager and Harry very badly wanted to turn those things to their enjoyment.

"I doubt I was the best in whatever long history we have here."

"Best I've known," he said, though he canted his head, frowning a bit. "I didn't even do anything," he pointed out. "I'm just laying here," he said, which he realized might be part of it, given he was in the man's bed.

"Yes. You're just laying here, in my bed, encouraging me to lay both with and on you and inviting and enjoying me kissing you. You're making incredibly difficult to behave."

Eggsy listened to that, but he didn't get upset. He just grinned. "I would offer to leave, but I don't want to," he admitted. "And don't you want me to enjoy kissing you? Isn't that the point?"

"You wretch of a boy," Harry murmured fondly, fingers tugging Eggsy's hair to arch his throat, tip his jaw up and kissed him again, not chaste, not even family appropriate as he coaxed his mouth open.

He couldn't argue that, no even as he groaned, eyes fluttering close as he eagerly parted his lips, arching up into the kiss. His tongue seeking out Harry's, wanting that taste, that sensation as his hand came up to cup the other man's neck once more.
